NTPC Receives “First Best Case Study” Award for its USSC initiative

Raipur 09 Feb, (Swarnim Savera) /- NTPC received “First Best Case Study” Award at Global Procurement Summit
organized by AIMA in association with World Bank, MOF and MOE &IT, Govt of
India. During the two-day meet held at New Delhi from February 8-9, 2024, Team
USSC (Unified Shared Services Centre) from NTPC presented their case study on
“Unified Shared Service Centre: Leveraging Advantages of Centralised
Procurement in NTPC”. USSC Team comprising Shri Atul Agrawal, GM (P&S);
Shri Rohit Prakash, DGM; Shri Subhash Paliwal, DGM; and Shri Saket
Srivastava, DGM presented the case study.

India Case Research Centre (ICRC) – AIMA conducted an “All India Level Case
Study Competition on Procurement” wherein Eight Case Studies were selected for
final round of competition.  
Shri C. Sivakumar, RED (WR-2, USSC & Ash NI) received the Trophy and
Certificate from Ms Anna Wielogorska, Regional Head South East Asia, World
Bank.
